Due to the recent graphics upgrade in Dawntrail, the game now requires significantly more of your PC's resources, especially in major cities. This is because the game must account for all players, their gear, as well as the numerous background effects and NPCs typically present in these areas.

Even if your device meets the current system requirements to run FFXIV Online, the game may still cause your PC's temperature to rise. We recommend taking steps to minimize heat buildup. For example, ensure that your PC fans are functioning properly, provide adequate ventilation around your system, and consider using liquid cooling or other methods to help reduce temperatures.
