Caveat: This is my main, the characters i'm having these issues with are not her, one of my favorite pastimes is leveling new through ARR. I truly enjoy that.
I have been playing for several years, and have had this issue since the start.
Let me say first though, that for the most part, i love the in-game weather.
However, I believe (for me) that some of it is extremely excessive.
The new excessive fog situation is going to force me to stop playing during the hours which i can play.
It's not just the fog, its also the whiteout blizzard conditions in the snowy areas, as well.
I get severe anxiety in situations where I am basically blinded.
I have dealt with the blizzard whiteouts by accepting that i'm am unable to continue with the msq until it ends, which is infinately annoying that i am unable to play during those conditions.
And now, I have to add the fog grayout as well.
I pay a sub, plus ALL the extra retainers and companion app.
I think players who are severely affected by certain weather conditions should be able to temporarily turn it off, so we can continue our msq peacefully.
