Congestion and Ranked CC

Who's bright idea was it to have this season's ranked CC be on a DC that was fully designated as congested in the same patch? Especially with the new "feature" that prevents you from logging into a congestion world even if you've already hopped to it?

Since space on congested servers is so limited it makes sense that you should have to wait your turn to play on one if it's not your home. Having to log in earlier to secure a spot smacks of cutting in line and shouldn't be tolerated.

You, uh, might want to reread the OP.

You can ONLY play Ranked CC on designated data centers for a season, which effectively means everyone outside of that data center can't participate when the congestion walls go up during peak hours. It doesn't help either that Ranked CC already lacks enough people to keep tiers and queues healthy without also telling 3/4s of those who might have been interested that they're SOL unless they sneak on during the early hours, and even then that's not exactly an ideal window to be queuing up.

This one wasn't well thought out or it was implemented too early, my entire static has to go to primal to raid now because two of us can't get over to Crystal. LOL

Yea it seems to be their newest system, I think it might go hand in hand with the new cross DF/PF system they will implementing at some point this patch but it's caused some friction so far.

It's really annoying. I hope they manage to setup the regional queues sooner than later.

Yeah thats all fine and dandy but to pvp you have to go to crystal this season.

Yup just hopping worlds is no longer enough, if it's not your native DC then you'll get hit with an error message when you try to login if it's too "congested"
