I'm all for expanded character creation options but was anyone actually asking for making your skin color any shade of the rainbow? That kind of feels out of left field to me.

I'm fine with seeing meme "Shrek" characters here and there if it means i have more options to customize my character. I don't see how there is any immersion arguement left when all the glams/gear now looks like modern day sims gear and phantasy star armor. People need to stop whining about every little thing they add.Hey, at least the roe population will double if not triple due to all the unfunny Shrek cosplayers
Just because a child can get a gun on their own does not mean that you should be giving children guns.
The color wheel skin color is one of the few things I did not like about the keynote.
The skin color selection should be expanded, sure, but not like this
I don't think anyone was asking for for rainbow skin per se, but there has been for a long time requests for more shades to be available, I imagine most that asked for that meant "More shades within the existing ranges", but for some reason, YoshiP decided to overdeliver, give us more than we were asking for.
Or, and this is going to blow people's minds, you can have a problem with the 2010s hot topic fashion and PSO2 wannabe armour as well as the RGB creatures we're gonna get.I'm fine with seeing meme "Shrek" characters here and there if it means i have more options to customize my character. And I'm sure I will hate whatever completely out of place rewards will come from the Evangelion crossover as well.
I think I have been pretty consistent in my dislike of the devs desperately trying to destroy their own original art direction and aesthetic.

I don't like it either but it's not like they're going to take away all the modern casual glams and pso armor so at this point just go all out.Or, and this is going to blow people's minds, you can have a problem with the 2010s hot topic fashion and PSO2 wannabe armour as well as the RGB creatures we're gonna get.

Must be a boomer thing to make an ugly character and than rolling around on the floor laughing your ass off, like it's the funniest thing in the world.Sir/Ma'm this a mmo not a single player game, so everyone has total freedom in the current CC and glams whatever they want now in May 2026 already including running around in small clothes, 2b leggings, mascots dyed in neon colors, joke armors/weps, and that giant hat from Syrcus Tower.
If anyone really annoys me then I just blacklist them in town so I don't have to see them anymore, and they can blacklist me in return if they dislike my glams too.
More options is always welcome, but I was hoping for new faces.

My one concern for Expanded Character Customiztion is 2 things: Butt Slider and BETTER Boob Slider...
All lot of people are still wanting Butt Slider just so they can stop wearing the 2B legs for MOST of their glamour. Unless 2B legs ends up having the biggest butts of them all, in which case we MIGHT see more people using 2B legs WAY MORE...
As for the better Boob Slider, I just want to stop using the Gown of Light chest piece simply because it has the biggest boobs of them all, at least on Au Ra... not sure about OTHER races though I would like other peoples thoughts Gown of Light and its effects on OTHER races, though I imagine Lalafells get nothing, in which I can point and laugh at them...
TBF, this is their game, so I can't see them doing anything they don't want to do since this isn't Only Medieval Fantasy either, like Urban and Sci-fi fantasy worlds exist too in fiction. If FF15 and FF16 can have fun collab events with glams and rewards, then we can have room for green Wols and Sol 9 along with robots and wrestlers.Or, and this is going to blow people's minds, you can have a problem with the 2010s hot topic fashion and PSO2 wannabe armour as well as the RGB creatures we're gonna get.

Also, everyone is free to check out Eorzea Collection to see the new variety of glams and armor sets out in 2026 if they believe modern glams have overtaken recent updates, which isn't true either way.
