    Returning Player Feedback

I read that the official forums is the best place to provide feedback.

I hadn't played since Shadowbringers, before that I have been a very casual player, my game is installed through steam. It's incredibly frustrating using the launcher for this game, you cannot save your credentials, you need to buy an expansion on steam, then get the product code, then find the section in the mog station to actually apply it, just yikes is this convoluted.

I had Endwalker installed (I bought it over a year ago on sale), a character level 80. I renewed my sub, spent ages downloading a patch, logged in and was about to start off Endwalker. Then I saw the new Dawntrail jobs and thought I'd really like to go through Endwalker with one of those instead, and they start at 80, great! all I need is Dawntrail, and I've already sat through an age of patch downloading (which after the latest release also required me to patch my game despite not yet owning Dawntrail) so I've purchased Dawntrail, figure out where to add the key in mogstation and applied it.
Signed into the Launcher .... patch downloading

why can't we just preinstall the entire game and just get gated by what expansions we own, now my entire 2 hour period while my kid sleeps is taken up by installing this expansion, and don't get me started on the fact that you can't even install the game without already having an active subscription (need to have logged in first before launcher will even install, so my entire first hours paid experience with this game is sitting and waiting)

I'd really love if the team could take a look at the launcher and mog station, I know it used to be way worse but surely this could be better

    thanks for reading

Warning you right now, more often than not, it feels like you're just screaming into an uncaring void whenever it comes to giving feedback...
