You could look at the official forums for Figaro or New Player Help to see if there's an LS on Figaro with people near your rank that you could do things with. You might also try similar forums on popular fan sites like ffxivcore.com and ffxiv.zam.com, but they may be less busy now that there are official forums. I haven't checked.
