Inactive Player Name Release

Hello FFXIV Mod team,

Is there any chance of Inactive Player Name Releases happening in the future? Something like characters under level 10 and without login in the past 5 years (and not a legacy player) lose their name or some other criteria?

I don't have a cool or crazy name I would switch to. I've grown to like my current name, even though it's not quite the Elezen accurate name I wish I landed on originally. I'm asking for a friend.

Sadly it does not seem likely that there will be any Inactive Player Name Releases, but we suggest trying to recover the account that has that character with the name you prefer. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to proceed with trying to recover the account

"Does not seem likely" is happily not a No! How could I shift the balance and get closer to likely?
If there are enough community members looking for an Inactive Player Name Release, could one take place? Would I need to get a picture with Yoshi P approving?
