Chocobos: how far they can go?

LOL I just can't imagine a chocobo tank. In every game Ive ever played, catching a chocobo was a pain in the ass because they were so skiddish. The idea of a bird standing up and duking it out is hilarious to me. Its like after years of running away from player battles they were all like, "I'm tired of this shit"

Well, after you have caught them, you've tamed/trained them. Sort of like how a wild horse is skittish and you'd never catch it charging into a battlefield...but after taming/training them, they will quite fearlessly go where ever you lead them.
