Who cares about spoilers, it's MMO, it's all about gameplay
If the story is so good, why does story skip never leaves bestsellers of FFXIV Store?

For it to work properly for this game, so as to not have things datamined heavily, it'd have to be a very developer-style minimalist experience. Instead of the standard game you encounter, it'd be test rooms. Like very minimalist graphics aside from the various foci of the testing. Text if it exists would just be "this is placeholder text". If there is meant to be a cutscene, the screen will fade to black before giving the message [placeholder cutscene]. Among other such things. That what is being worked on has its own private server for testing and development by the company.
Like as an example, lets say I am a developer, I want to see how the players interact with the teleportation pad for entering [instanced mega-dungeon] (later known as forked tower blood in the final build). Then I would collect feedback and make adjustments.
Or as as second example, here is a new job. You will have access to gear, materia, food, pots. There will be some training dummies to practice on.
Would they do it? I don't know, and I kind of doubt it.

Tbh, I would quite like a publicly accesible equivalent to the media Tour build they usualy seem to do.
Get some parts of the first two msq zones but with no quests and limited npc presence, some striking dummies to try out the class changes, and maybe a censored version of the first dungeon.
We usualy see big parts of these zones already at fanfest showcases and anything in there once the media Tour content creator Embargo is lifted so the people wanting to avoid any spoilers need to figure out how to dodge all that info already anyways.
Alicie, I am trying to be nice about this, but why you keep doing this? it's not the first time where you try to go "This is a MMO, nobody cares about the story", to which several people show up to say some variation of "Nah, the story can actually be pretty banger", so I need to ask, what are you trying to accomplish? don't get me wrong, it's your right to not care about the story, but you keep acting as if everyone should only prioritize the things that you, personally, enjoy about the game, when it is so clearly not the case...

I’d rather just be able to give feedback on the media tour build myself than try to piece together streamer comments that mostly amount to xeno thinking it’s the best thing ever because WAR got buffed again
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Agreed but only for job rotations, excluding upcoming ones.
Why excluding upcoming ones? Is that not the rotation they should want feedback for?
They could have test servers with just job changes but no new content
