I would enjoy test servers for upcoming features rather than content, I don't want to see Savage before it drops, but I would enjoy being able to see Jobs, reworks or new, especially now with Evolved system on the horizon, ahead of time.

No, I like that we all experience the new stuff together and nobody knows everything that's coming till it actually drops.
Easy fix, dont let people play the new content, let people try out job changes in current content
That'd be plenty. I trust them to not have buggy quests or raids but i think letting players give feedback on jobs would be amazing

Test servers would be cool, but I wonder how they would handle giving access to it.
Have they done anything like this before?

They do on the media tour, but it's all done in person. So if they were to do something new, yet similar, I could see it being hosted in any of their locations: Tokyo, Los Angeles (El Segundo, CA), London, Paris, Hamburg, and/or Beijing.

I don't think we need test servers. Most "player tests" are just previews of upcoming content that is already in a state where they can't make changes quickly. And for smaller numerical changes they don't need a test server for that, they can do it once the game is live.

pretty sure we wont see test servers.
they are rightfully afraid that if we see the game they are planning to give us, that they wont sell copies of the expansion.

To be honest , I like having a surprise. I get, you know, it's good for the player base to test it out.But in the same breath , some people are just gonna use it as early access content. I think them doing internal testing is fine

he's going to grift, harass, downplay, disenfranchise, gaslight, stalk, and gate keep!
If you get test servers and they release everything then people will soon realize how small amount of content this game gives over the course of patches which will make everyone quit even faster.

In a story based game? No thanks.
