Is Final Fantasy XI Still A Thing?

Something nobody ever wants to deal with. I hate when I forget to change the settings from where it disconnects after 20 mins to never.

Download, walk away, 20 mins later it cancles, come back 5 hours later to find it disconnected FML

If this was XIV's update system, the same amount of data would probably take me like, 12 hours. sob.

Wait, people sit there and actually update within POL? You all do realize that you can reinstall the game from scratch and be done updating everything within a couple of minutes right? Just get the updates via Bluegartr.

If the link gets nuked just PM for it. SE doesn't like people being able to update fast and efficiently.

I'm currently playing both, it's rather nice actually. My linkshell exists on both XIV and XI, so whenever I'm bored of XIV I can do stuff on XI. I'm usually running both games at the same time on weekends.

SE doesn't like people downloading stuff from 3rd party sites then come crying to them when they get hacked.
