Right now, these cats hit a very uncomfortable uncanny valley to me, maybe it is a matter of getting used to them, seeing them in movement, but right now I really don't like looking at them...

I wonder how popular Hrothgar are and if they were worth all the work involved in adding them.

You must go to your Limsa Lominsa by the northern side of the plaza and you'll see how popular they are.

I think they're adorable ever since I saw the concept art, and the 3D model is great.

However, they lack alot of the basic playable race features like having a hairstyle, wearing mixed clothing, no hats/shoes, and I prefer them to be the NPC Tribal Society since SE would have more freedom with their design as it doesn't have to follow the current race limitations.

Don't wanna throw cold water on, but I doubt they will implement it, and Square has good reasons. Hrothgar and Viera both are a pain already for Square, mostly head pieces, but being Hrotghar I can notice MANY other type of pieces have problem. They seems so "stretched" since male Hroth/Roegadyn (Same base model) are much bigger than other races. So, unless you would like being a race that is unable to equip many gearsets, forget it.
