The changes shown at Anaheim Fanfest for most of the jobs looked pretty exciting, I am very interested in the changes made to Bard and Dragoon, and Paladin looks fun. However, I think the decision to make White Mage's damage casts instant is a mistake and a more fun rhythm could be established with some tweaks.

If Glare and High Glare are both instant, most of the thinking around movement on the job is entirely gone, which greatly reduces complexity. Rather than make both of them instant, please consider making it so Glare has a cast time (perhaps even a full cast time rather than a shortened weave window cast time), and then High Glare is instant. This would give WHM a fun gcd-to-gcd rhythm to play with, similar to RDM, and would make using swiftcast and other instants to move still an aspect of the class. Without any damage cast times, doing mechanics without dropping uptime will become extremely easy and make the class feel very boring.

Aside from the Glare changes, I like the direction of the new healing refund mechanic and I think opening up avenues to use more of WHM's GCD kit is a good thing. I just really don't think the class will feel fun to play in high end content if it's a caster that doesn't actually have to engage with caster mechanics.
