Sigh, i think is better to solve this "controversy" with simple logical way. As a QA IRL i think this should be right.
First of all glitch - is a form of bug.The bug wasn't intended to be by design, it was a development error.

Solution: error should be fixed and everything would work as designed OR the defective system should be reworked.

To leave everything as it is or saying "is feature now" - mean admitting own incompetence to SE as a developer, because players unequal in opportunities.

Had they fixed the glitch, we wouldn't have the floating metagame the was developed from it. Fixing it would actually lower the ceiling rather then raise the floor. As it removes floating as a concept

Also you're on the Quality Assurance Team not the Development team, don't conflict the two

I don’t know why you seem to think suddenly everyone will be masters at decorating and it all will be uniform and boring. Look at the Sims. The majority of players are still basic builders if they even bother to build at all. They can download other people’s builds or not bother. Many are also decent and skilled. Yet that doesn’t stop the genius builders and designers from creating beautiful and much more impressive things. And seeing their builds inspires others to try because anyone can start with the same available tools.

Heres the honest truth... The "Genius builders" already built it. Creativity doesn't ask for permission to be made. And it certainly didn't wait for a Z axis the day the players found out how to loft things. The players took it apon themselves.

Creatives don't wait. Decorators do.
