I’m fine with Kefka I suppose. Wouldn’t have hated a Shadowbringers MSQ or Pandemonium, but I guess Panda’s practically guaranteed to get one later anyway.

Arcadion would have been an insane departure since that was just this expansion and this is the first .51 ultimate, but would have been interesting to prog due to the raid’s recency.

Not Hildibrand ult at least so I’ll call it a win, at least for now

I'm not like...mad about Kefka being the ultimate because I really like FF6, but I was expecting something else (with Yoshi P saying this was going to be "meta"). Will have to see what it actually is come FanFest.

THIS would be pretty sweet, I'm iffy on Kefka alone considering that TOP was just Omega 6 times, but bringing them all together just makes sense

Kefka is involved but his presence in the trailer is meant to be a fake-out. The theme will be about a grand struggle against Chaos.

It's still a meta Final Fantasy boss gauntlet starting with Kefka, followed by Exdeath, then Enuo, Necron, and finally Chaos. After a party defeats Chaos in, he devours the essence of the other four bosses like he absorbed the power of the four fiends in Final Fantasy 1 and transforms into Feral Chaos from Final Fantasy Dissidia. A grand battle with many complicated mechanics ensues, your party after many hours of progression is victorious, the cutscene plays complete with fanfare, an achievement is unlocked, but just as the words "DUTY COMPLETE" appears in gold letters upon your screen is the music silenced by a single word;

"Bullshit!"

The words shatter and fall away as a new original song made in collaboration between Sokken and Limp Bizkit plays, your party freezes in their celebration and turn in shock to see that the true final phase is Jack Garland.

The glitch effect in the teaser with that specific model of Kefka shown has me thinking this is actually the Omega raid boss rush that we all theorized TOP was going to be, too. God Kefka is likely the second to last phase with some sort of new form (or another FF final boss?) being the surprise final phase.

Would be psychotic if its Jenova as the final phase but I think that's more like going to a raid series in itself later on.

But it being Jack would genuinely be amazing. Especially if we get a rock theme in the 2000's style he's associated with. I know it's a joke but I would love that.
