Returning Player Question

Morning All

Hopefully im ok posting in this section.

I havent played for a very long time but im looking forward to 2.0's release.

As there is sometime before that launches i was wondering whether it was worth playing through on the current version for the time being?

Im a bit confused in terms of what happens to the story line when 2.0 comes out.

Are the quests that are currently in game going to completely change I.e is this my only chance to experience them or will they be in 2.0?

When 2.0 comes out i will likely create a new character on one of the new servers and start fresh but id like to catch up on the story if i can if its all going to change.....

I know they said 2.0 is like a whole new game so dont want to miss out current things in this version if i can help it ^^

As long as you don't dillydally! Hop to it, gogogo!! There isn't a whole lot of time, and you've probably got a lot of catching up to do.

The main and GC's stories lead upto the comign events. Especially the later GC's

Im glad to hear there is lots to do and that the story links with whats coming in 2.0. I can see ive got an awful lot to catch up with.

Can i also just say that my little Knee's have seen better days! All this running about is no doubt going to tire me out!
Hopefully getting a Chocobo isnt to difficult.

I also need to get some stylish clothes, im a lalafell after all and i have standards!

I missed out on the Gobbue im afraid I left it to late coming back.
Wish i carried on Playing as i did start at release but at the time the game just wasnt for me.

Never mind though i shall soldier on and achieve what i can with the time thats given
