Thread: Gold and Items from 1.x -> 2.0

It would completely piss off the current player base (and they need retention ;p). Especially those who have worked hard crafting/gathering/farming tomake their riches. It wouldn't be the right thing to do and I doubt SE would pull a boneheaded move like this.

I think felis was talking about the actual conversion of those items to just say +1.

I can't find where it was posted, but for Dated Items, they are still thinking about it. It's not as simple as saying "let's wipe them all". What about players who stopped playing early? They would reconnect in 2.0 with no equipment at all? (And then rage-quit again since they they lost almost everything..)

The only thing that is confirmed is that Dated RECIPES will be removed.

If I had to guess, I'd say that they will only keep finished dated items in the game.

The obsolete parts, materials, and recipes won't make the transition.
