Honestly...Garlemald is probably going to be revisited and given a restoration situation, ala the Firmament. I'm not against going back to it at all but, it sucked seeing it completely destroyed so they'd have to figure that out.

I tend to believe that if they visit somewhere in a dungeon, then it's a sign they handled it via a dungeon and are done with it. That said, the Corvos we saw was the pre-Garlemald version, so it's possible they plan to show us the version that is taken over by Garleans at a future date.There is a side quest in Dawntrail that provides lore on the Scatay Range which is very curious to start giving lore on that only now.

The problem is that we visited a lot of it via the Stormblood alliance raid series and Bozja. However, Nagxia is a specific place that we haven't visited that has specifically been talked about a lot by Hien and had representatives over, so we could navigate through the Nagxia > Skatay Range > Knowing Sea. Now the Dalvalan Grath is interesting because I've been into Bardam's Mettle to see how they depict it in the background.

Yoshi P has already confirmed 8.0 is not Meracydia, I get it, you want to go there as much as most of us do. But it's off the cards for 8.0, maybe even 9.0

The new patch website mentions that the trial boss is from the void, which is really odd timing to revisit for the .5 patch, so maybe we will go there after all.

Looks like we are going Garlemald then the moon from there we have a stop over in early September with whatever is being held back and then we could go one of three ways:

A. We head to a shard we have been to (Void seems to point that way but could be a misdirect)

B. We head to a shard we have never been to (The key appears to be altered by Shale so ?)

C. We head back down to Eitherys and head somewhere on the map and everything 7.5 is all a misdirect.

It's possible the Devs are using the Void shard as a long term multi expansion story arc and this is just a short update on that. Perhaps Enuo the Unmaking attacks because we have inadvertently corrupted/mutated the voidsent see here:

In which case the void story is just a short update and not pointing to 8.0.

I had a terrible thought while away. If the key bugs out we could wind up dumped on the 7th.

The seventh was rejoined already, I hope that eases your terrible thought.

I suppose one reason that we might be going to The Moon is because we used it to travel to another shard (the void), and it may be integral to shard-hopping given the work we put into developing the portal.

I think we going to either Blindfrost or the Dark Void were Darkness overtook everything.
