I started reaching out to the GM team Monday. To this hour, I STILL have received zero communication. Where the hell are they?

I hear of this happening sometimes, and typically they have complete faith in their demolition system. There's no guarantee GMs have the ability to affect it, and if they do there may not be a guarantee that it's safe to do so without causing errors.
Overall though, it's crazy that after 13 years, the house system is still restricted to a fixed number of players (no other MMORPG on the market does this as far as I know), and that the house system has not been made robust after 13 years.
13 years - that's enough time to go to university, learn how to code (which can also be done in a few days via Google), get 10 years of experience, and then get hired by Square Enix.
I understand it's technically impossible to have unlimited wards, but the simple solution is to detach houses from plots so that they don't get destroyed, so you can still teleport inside of them when they aren't assigned to a plot. Then there shouldn't be a technical issue.

Precisely!!! This was just a major issue on the EU servers. Thousands of players lost their houses wrongfully because entering their houses didn't register their entry/didn't reset the timer. The announced "fix" was apparently to just interact with stuff in the house. That...isn't a fix.I hear of this happening sometimes, and typically they have complete faith in their demolition system. You'd think they'd have figured this out by now.
