OC Unplayable

Boy do I love being locked out of content because I didn't no-life it for months. Literally cannot do any FATEs since everyone else has higher movement speed and melt it with their damage buffs from having maxxed jobs. Wanted to tag along with some friends as they tried to make some progress with it but nope.

When I first got into OC, I ignored the Fates and just did CEs. You can camp the Pot Fates as well if you want to do those.

Buy a Riding Map with silver earned from Critical Engagements, and liberally use Return as needed since it's Instant Recast in OC. This doesn't excuse the frustration of starting Occult Crescent with noticeably impaired speed. Without a Riding Map, new explorers are at a clear disadvantage when traveling in the content.

Unplayable is only true when the server node is fudged and i gotta use cloudflare warp to do ce's without superhard rubber band lag. That being said They really should revert to bozja's queue system for ce's and maybe extend it to fates because the mad dashing sucks hard because the fates die way faster than eureka nm's

Its annoying for max KL/JL too! Everyone is so fast you really just need to use return and camp the aetheryte to get to fates quickly (With riding map as previously stated). Its a flawed system but not unplayable.
