Does Limited Leveling Roulette not work as intended?

It only works when you're queueing into leveling roulette in a full 4-man premade (means, also no AiN bonus for you). Otherwise it will just assume you have the setting turned off.

They probably enforce this limitation to ensure newer MSQ'ing player will always have steady supply of randos to fill in their queues via roulettes.

Is there an off chance that Limited Leveling Roulette also not work in full 4 player pre-made parties, even IF that option is turned on or does that require extensive testing...?

Speaking from personal experience of running leveling roulettes w/ full premade of friends, I never encounter issue of them not working. Us four lv100s would always end up in either Worqor, Cenote, Vanguard, or Origenics, which are exactly within the feature's lv range (Lv - 8).

no mention of stone vigil, very curious.

Stone Vigil did happen, but it was not as prominent as the others. I did maybe a total of 6 Stone Vigils's
But generally yes Stone Vigil and Sunken Temple of Quarn were there. Probably would take 3rd and 4th places on the list. But really it could be a toss up with any of the ARR dungeons.

Bad sign since free trial players don't give Square-Enix money, and many sprouts have an overlap with free trial players, which is bad for investors because they will cut funding from Square-Enix if there aren't many paid players to pay off the investment that investors made...

When paste first came out, people quickly learned you could remove your gear to force ARR dungeons. I saw those endlessly. I still get Stone Vigil more than any other. I'm on Aether so maybe YMMV by DC.

I'm getting less ARR dungeons now but it was pretty bad for a while there with people forcing ARR dungeons and then trying to (without communicating) grab everything and die in the boss room to speed through it all.

Exactly. Fewer people getting paste now so probably fewer people manipulating for ARR.
