Is it just me, or does 2.0 look like it was a LOWER graphical quality than 1.0?

Perhaps because it isn't the final product, but to be honest i was looking forward to upgrading my PC to play this beautiful new game, and it seems to be LOWER than that of 1.0. Anyone else feel the same way?
