    XBox 360 controller

    Not sure if this is the right forum, but i need some help with setting up my 360 controller.
    I have a wired controller atm and wondering how to get it to work.
    I have tried a profiler and tried the config, with no luck. Controller powers on, but it won't show up in config or profiler. It also installed ok as well. Maybe i'm forgetting something.
    I had a logitech controller, but it clapped out on me, and i hate playing with the keyboard.
    Please help guys.

    I plug mine when to final fantasy xiv config ---> gamepad and then active gamepad to controller xbox 360 for windows. Not sure why your not working sadly there not much information to go on.

    It should have just work soon you plug it in ;(

    That's weird... even for the wireless 360 controller it was pretty much plug > set keys in FFXIV Config> play. ( but it had other issues...)

    The controller should show up in Devices. If it does and you cannot go to properties and calibrate it then, I would remove the device completely, reboot, then plug it back in and see if Win7 detects it. Good Luck!

    If plug and play doesn't work, you may have to manually download the drivers from Microsoft

    also i heard that if it's a 360 controller with wifi even if it's relied to the pc via usb it won't work .

    It's not wifi xD
    But you are correct, the Wireless controllers don't work with the playncharge kit, but OP has a wired controller, so that doesn't really have any relevance here.

    Unless OP is actually trying to use a playncharge kit on a wireless controller and thinks its "wired."
