You get a 20m mount for 12 kills, which equals 5m gil per hour. That doesnt sound bad as reward (aswell as the aloalo savage weapon skins)
can you even enter it with 2 people, no need for 3 others
I believe you are mistaking it for Advanced, Criterion has similar rewards but the fact is that there are not enough people running the content. It's incredibly rare to see parties fill in PF, and equally as challenging to organize groups outside of the game as well.

I love Criterion! Especially because your "static" only needs 4 people to fill. Less schedules to organize. And one of the other people in the static is probably the friend that got you into XIV, or the friend that you got into XIV.
But the downside is - 4 person statics fill up quick! So you never see these publicly advertised. Or they were never in PF in the first place. So many raiders have access to 3+ people they could run Criterion with, and so they do.
I don't think this is a rewards issue and I don't think the content is dead. The fights are super fun are people are definitely playing them. The problem you're having is that you don't have an interested friend group or savage static large enough to skip PF, and everyone else is skipping PF.
I too enjoy the fight a lot, though have only done the first boss. You are correct in that there aren't enough interested people to be able to fill statics or PF, which is my point in that a majority of people do not feel incentivized to engage with the content.
Pretty much this. I wouldn't touch Advanced/Criterion with PF. I have a group that I've run the prior Criterions and Alo Savage with. And Advanced Merchant (and we plan to do Another Merchant). why would i bother with PF?I love Criterion! Especially because your "static" only needs 4 people to fill. Less schedules to organize. That’s great that you guys have the existing social structure that lets you engage and enjoy it.
Just because your experiences differ because of your existing statics. does not mean that other players are having the same experience. The fact of the matter is that there are fewer people playing this content that is less than a month old, than other forms of high end content.
For those who did not have existing statics, or have to rely on PF to enjoy multiplayer content, cannot do so because of the lower pool of players engaging with it.
