    Because it was impossible to run out of MP if you had 20 THM as ANY job, this includes DOW. MP management was already non-existant, they just completely deleted it with this unneeded auto-mp regen change.

    Also, since when does "casual" mean "easier than being afk?" because at the moment, being afk takes more skill than doing anything in this game pretty much.

    Xatsh is right, this whole "END GAME 2 WEEKS OR GTFO!" western mentality needs to die in a fire, and never come back. I'm sick of it. It took MONTHS, years, forever, to reach 75 in FFXI. But it was fun the entire time, you still had missions, AF, genkei's, etc to do while leveling up. It wasn't boring at all, and it felt like you actually accomplished something by leveling.

    1-50 wasn't very difficult and didn't have many missions in FF11, so here's hoping that 51-75 will be like FFXI's, tons of AF, tons of missions, genkei's, etc. The battle system revamp better also make fighting more difficult/skill based(why is the skill ceiling AND cap below the ground? its so low that it's insane, I've never seen such an easy game and I've played WOW for 5+ years) teamwork based, and they edit monsters to actually be challenging to fight. Current monster difficulty is that of some ABC 123 toddler game.

    The fact that no one can tell the difference between a bad or good player is a good indication that this games current battle system takes very little(zero?) skill and mobs are far too weak.

    Maybe we should take back the game from the whining "weekend warriors". My suggestion to those that think this game is too hard may I suggest you go back to playing WoW. IMHO this game is not even close to hard enough. I said it before and I will say it again FF is not for everyone.

    Please increase EXP and SP winnings!!! Also... increase rank max and physical level (physical level is something that should be able to be superior to 100).
    Also I think that you could do something that I don't remember reading anywhere here... Some Classes could onl be used at a determined Physical Level (example: to be a conjurer you should have a Physical Level equal or superior to 5). Of course, you should do that with new classes (like Knight, Muskateer)

    Yet it was designed this way. I am sorry that you can't play the game in the style it was intended to be played. That is what makes the armoury system so unique. I sorry that there are not defined classes to suit your style of play. Maybe this game is not for you.

    LOL? I should start ignoring everything you post, you're not very smart and have no idea what you're talking about. Go play pokemon or something, seriously.

    I shouldn't have to put taunt on my bars to tank WAH!!!!!!! ;_;!!! I shouldnt do something that takes less than a day to make my character 1000000% more effective! Nope! Never! MRD leveling pug or glad to 10 so it can tank better? Nope nope, never.

    1-20 takes less than a day, siphon mp = unlimited mp. Very hard and complex to do. This is like someone complaining about needing to level a subjob in FFXI then running around with a /2 gimped subjob at 75. I bet you're that person, mr 75THF/2ninja. Actually, I doubt you'd have ninja unlocked, you shouldn't have to do a quest to unlock a job after all! That's forcing you to do something you don't wanna do! That's bad design! OMG!

    WoW easy? not really. There are levelling quests where you need all your efforts. there are bosses you can complete only if you don't do mistakes.
    In FF14 the only difficult things to do is log in and repeat. another time, for another month, the same cluster of quest. And yes it's counterintuitive.
    Don't say "it's all fine, OP problem" because it's not, and the evidence is people leaving the game, near to empty high level aetherite.

The player a mob should be targeting is the one that would give him the best chance to inflict damage on the other party. Not the person using an antiquated skill design over and over again.


    As for what else you were blathering on about, if everyone had to use that stinking skill to play, then either the skill or the game design needed changing. Ubiquitous skills are bad. This has nothing to do with leveling. This has everything to do with bad designs.


    RPGs have been out for over 30 years and we still have to argue over simple basics.

    SOOOOOO true. Tanking is over rated. Positioning should be the key, and combat should be more fluid and active. XIV is exactly the opposite right now, especially with auto-attack being implemented

    thank goodness as a pug i will rarely use auto attack since i have both heavy strike and pummel equipped and use them both. not to mention i have to use heavy strike just to access flurry. i will still basically play the same thank goodness. i do not want an automated battle for me.

    i mean geez what's next if your hp gets too low you heal yourself? you click a destination and it runs there for you? to complete the quests you click on them and just watch to see what you did?
