The latest release providing poor rewards is the straw that broke the camels back.

I have been consistently subbed since around 5.1, and have ridden the waves up and down since then, always believing the team has had our best interest at heart.

This is no longer the case.

I am a mid-core battle content player. Bozja is my favourite piece of content in the game, to give an example of what I mean by mid-core. Content that provides weeks and weeks worth of grinding that provides satisfying rewards and unique experiences. I absolutely loved the my journey of grinding for the notes from fates/duels, it gave me something to aim for.

But, where are we now?

I have not been given grind-worthy, mid core battle content since Shadowbringers. I had fallen for the devs gaslighting saying they are listening and will be implementing more rewards into content. Yet, the latest release has just confirmed my suspicion that either the devs arent been given the resources or the devs are being led by horribly misinformed leadership.

I have had enough. I am stepping back from FF14, waiting for 8.0. I am just 1 person, but I cannot play a game where I am disregarded, ignored and overlooked.

The team has been given far too much grace, it is clear they are lying to the community and we shouldn't stand for it.

Please devs, listen to us. We want satisfying rewards structures, engaging and long term content.

I cannot believe my favourite game has pushed me away.
