Cant buy anything from the online store

So i have purchased the full version of the game, even went as far as to get the digital deluxe version because i love it, and i really wanted to get the value bundle, and i also wanted to change the name of one of my characters, now i have tried to purchase these 2 things over 300 times in the last few hours, trying everything i can to just make a simple purchase, i bought the game on steam, i live in australia, and no matter ho much i try, no matter what i do, it just wont let me purchase anything, i cant tell whether it thinks im trying to make a fraudulent purchase because i live in australia and my region gets set to europe/uk, i have no idea, i am at wits end, mog station and the ffxiv store is completely broken, even just for me to get the full expansion up to dawn trail, i had to try to make the purchase over 60 times, because it kept sending me back to the login page or giving me Error Code: i2501, please is there any way i can just make a purchase, im about to give up on this game entirely

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with our authentication systems. The i2501 error is an error that is triggered by the system to protect accounts. Many actions can trigger this error, such as a slow internet connection, use of a VPN or an odd connection (EG: schools or cafes), a possible virus detected on the device, many rapid payments at once, and numerous other actions.

Additionally, we have provided a troubleshooting guide for you if the above actions do not apply and you are still receiving the i2501 error.
    - We advise clearing the cache/cookies/browsing data from your default web browser.
    - Disable any web browser extensions (EG: ad-blocker).
    - Use a different browser (Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox tends to have less issues).
    - Use private browsing or incognito mode.
    - Use a smartphone running on a mobile data connection only (Wi-Fi disabled).
    - We also suggest resetting the connection (router/modem) you are using to connect to the Internet and waiting a full 24 hours since your last attempt before trying again.

Should the issue persist after waiting a full 24 (twenty-four) hours from your last attempt, please do not hesitate to contact us back and we’ll be happy to take a further look.

I have tried all of this rxcept for waiting the 24 hours, however i had tgis issue when upgrading from the free trial to standard, and then from standard to the complete edition and then again when upgrading to the digital depuxe edition, i would have to just spam through each stage of the process until it eventually let me submit the request for purchase, it would log me out over and over and over again, to the point where i have labelled making a purchase on mogstation an extreme sport, but i cant make any purchase on the ffxiv store at all, for example the name change or the value bundle, it didnt matter whether i do it on phone, if i deleted all cookies or cache files, i even went as far as try on different computers, utuilising different ISPs, i disabled every extension on my pc, using incognito, i dont use a VPN, but i thought hey maybe its because im sending a request from an australian account and its region locking me, so i bought a VPN and tried purchasing while set to the UK, not one of these things fixed thr issue, not by tgemseleves and not in any combinayion of the aforementioned, i tried for over 4 hours to make those 2 purchases and to no avail

We appreciate your response! It's great to know that you were able to perform some of the troubleshooting steps on your end. However, we would still highly advise you to wait for a full twenty-four (24) hours after performing the troubleshooting steps for the recent i2501 error you received.

Should the issue still persist even after doing all the troubleshooting steps and waiting a full twenty-four (24) hours, kindly reach out to our support team and let them know that you've already completed the troubleshooting steps on your end, and waited a full twenty-four (24) hours, but the issue is still appearing.

You did mention that your account is under EU region, here's the link where you can reach out to our correct support team for your reference: http://support.eu.square-enix.com/index.php

This thread will be moved to "Closed Concerns”. Thank you once more for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
