Chocobo suit, tail

Hello is there anyway to remove the tail on hrothgars using chocobo suits?

I thought all costumes were like this, however I noticed the tail on the chocobo suit given through achievements protrudes out the back side. Im surprised, since pants on some outfits like the Vanguards sets hide the tail, but body suits do not...
