    Setting Up Macros

I'd like to see some examples of macros that some of you are using. If I remember correctly, when I played FF11 there were players that would have some in-depth Macros that would use /echo and other interesting stuff to accomplish multiple things.

Do any of you have Macros that go beyond the basic macro that uses the single line of '/ac "Raging Strike" <me>' or some other random class skill?

Do you have a super good one for Taunt/Provoke? Do you have one for dancing? Do you have one for roleplaying? Seeing some of the macros other people use would help quite a bit.

I've been here: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...e/macro01.html, but it certainly isn't the same as seeing player made macros.

They really limit you with the character and line limitations... I mainly use those on that site with some tweaks...

my buff macro goes something like this

/p Everyone get CLOSE to <t> I'm BUFFING in 5 SECONDS!
    /aoe on
    /wait 4
    /ac "Shell" <t>
    /wait 4
    /ac "Protect" <t>
    /wait 4
    /ac "Shock Spikes" <t>
    /wait 4
    /ac "Stoneskin" <t>

otherwise I just mash away with the controller/keyboard... Unless it is for a Battle Reg or changing Classes.. but most of that is covered on that site also...

Some of the <mp> <sign> macros are nice too... shows party your hp/mp is low and what amount and places a sign above your character... Sorry not much help..

    Low Hp/Mp

    /p My Hp is low! <hp>!! <sign0>

    /p My MP is LOW! <mp>!! <sign1>

(you can replace the <hp> with <hpp> and <mp> with <mpp> if you want it to show %'s instead of min/max)

    Auto-Follow
    /lockon
    /automove
(you must target the player first and be running)

A basic battle regimen macro would be:

    /br on <sign4>
    /ac "Skewer II" <t>
/party Battle Reg Started, Next Up!

The last person in the group to add their BR would then add /br to their last line of the macro to actually start the battle regimen action.

Decided to copy/paste some info from my post on my LS's forum :-)

I don't really use a lot of crazy macros with talking and stuff because after a while it kind of becomes annoying. Mainly I use a lot for equipment/job changes. The only real big line of macros I think I implement is BR type macros that include "Cadence" or "Keen Flurry"

/br on macro can lock you up and kill you...I just use /br

Other such useful (or useless) tips are in my blog under my name in the Lodestone
