Elevated Ester usage after 7.45

From "The Merchant's Tale (Advanced)" Corvosi Brass can be obtained, that is tradeable for Elevated Ester. Elevated Ester is not usable for anything, unless you complete "Another Aloalo Island (Savage)".

This seems like an oversight, because this way the player can spend their tokens on something that is completely useless and unusable to them, until completing a different, and harder content.

You actually can clear Another Aloalo Island (the normal, not Savage, version) and unlock spending it as well, but yes it still feels like an oversight.
