hmmm.
SE could increase the trade from 20 to 24 bit or 16milions.

I have 10,000 needles,
I'm not a weaver,
and I'm not scared to use them.

Your point is invalidated by every post SE makes about RMT and how many accounts they ban. If it truly prevented RMT, we wouldn't see hundreds to thousands of accounts being banned each month.
I was buying stuff on JP servers with my frend. Trading simple 36mils was a headache.
Like seriously, u can buy a 5000000000000 item on market by a mistake, but can't simply give u fren 10mil in 1 turn, so they can pass in back on OCE server to ur JP alt.

its to hender the RMT shenigans thank those people for the limitsCurrently you can trade 1 million gil per each trade. Maybe back during ARR it was a lot, but nowadays it's not so much. You can easily have multiple million gil lootmaster parties and trading then turns into mess. House decoration services may cost easily 50m or higher, crafting services that people provide, various venue managements, and a lot of other stuff.
Can we have it increased to maybe 10m at least?
In hindsight, this would explain why when people kept making PF postings to craft the newest gear, I noticed they always requested coming to their (or FCs) housing plot specifically to make the trade.
I always assumed it was a matter of personal convenience because they had a summoning bell/FC chest right there without having to deal with public crowds like the major cities, or hell, that they were even RPing as a maker and seller of goods (with a little housing flex on the side, lol). But the mannequin thing makes so much more sense now for trading multiple pieces at once while bypassing the gil caps and taxes.

It doesn't prevent RMT but it sure slows them down.
Very few people need to trade that much gil, if anything they should lower the limit.
