Also remember that the days can be non-consecutive, if you subscribed for 2 months before and stopped, you can still get legacy if you start subscribing again on the same account before August 31st.

Yucie <~ could of been nice and said Look at this forum thread, also Took you 2 mins to respond ~ >CsLionheart. I use the search function on many occasions but don't find my answer using the search function. I would rather be more efficient In asking the stupid question then spend hours trolling through 300+ threads to find my answer was not answered. If Yucie doesn't have to be a dick, you don't have to be lazy. Had you searched for the answer yourself, you would have found it in about 2 minutes:

Maybe you can help me when i get home to post my New thread because i cannot find my answer in a timely fashion? And maybe be nice and atleast tell me the link to the thread or the keywords you used to find the thread. Or you can write a thread describing how to use the SE search function because some people do not know how to group words in a more precise search function to narrow down their search... >.>

Hiya Teta,When was the last day you could resubscribe to make it in time for legacy status? Anyone know?
http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...&so=4&q=legacy
According to that, they said they would let us know, but did they ever let us know?
To get the Legacy status, your account needed to be created before May 31st. You need to have 3 months of subscription payed for before 2.0 beta. For example, I have a second account that was created at release but I just started a subscription in June. Because I was able to get 3 months of subscripton in before the beta 2.0 cut off, was I just awarded Legacy a few days ago.
I hope this helps!
Using the search function on a well-talked-about topic - especially something concerning Legacy - is a normal feature on most boards and forums that largely goes unused and should be better utilized.
No matter what boards I frequent, there are 4 or 5 threads a day asking about Legacy, when the cut-off was, how to get ahold of Legacy status, and how things worked. Squeenix, the mods, and the Lodestone gave us plenty of warnings, and information concerning such matters, and it's nobody's fault but the player's that they didn't read about this sooner to take a chance at it and get the full advantages of it.
It may come off as being a dick, and that's perfectly fine; think what you will; however, it would've taken thirty seconds to find the search bar, enter 'Legacy' and find EVERY single thread about it. I'm sure more than 90% of those threads have the answer that OP was looking for. I'm just sick of the useless topics that fill this board when I check it every day for information or anything concerning ARR.
Check the lodestone, click the Legacy thing and it TELLS you when the cut-off was. They also gave returning players an extra month, the end of June rather than the end of May, to pay for their 90 days and get Legacy.
It was the end of June, if you never paid for any amount of time when subscription fees began. When was the last day you could resubscribe to make it in time for legacy status? Anyone know?

Legacy status was created to reward people who had the patience to stick with them while they developed 2.0. If you chose not to play, then you are not deserving of the rewards (discount, name in credits, special mount)
If and when you qualify for legacy, you will know it. there will be a legacy icon on the character select screen as well as on your square enix account.

That's the nature of business.
But those who DID stick around - myself included - deserve -something-. Legacy isn't too substantial, but I approve of the lifetime discount and infinite characters, as well as getting my name in the credits.
I know, I'm just joking around. Though honestly, SE is probably hoping that they lose money with this deal, since it will mean that all the Legacy players stayed for 10+ months.
