Fashion accessories suggestions : Body Wears

    Hello everyone

I’m one of the people that doesn’t like gear that shows skin, and there are a lot of cool designs that are a turn off for me because it shows skin. Its not something moral, more like personal preference.

There are also some gear that has gabs making it impossible to cover, for example, GNB’s Virtu Bodyguard’s Coat. If you put on any helmet there will be a gab that doesn’t cover part of the neck.Or wearing any kind of skirt/kimono that flashes underwear when you jump, mount and emote and honestly it feels so off … And there are lot more examples (unfortunately I’m in the hospital rn so I can’t log into the game and get screenshots to showcase)

So I’ve been thinking about this and instead of asking for designs that favor my taste and upsets other people who like it the way it is now, Why not add Body Wears? Tights that you can slap on your character model to cover skin parts you don’t want to be exposed? I drew some samples to convey my idea

Conceptually its the opposite of New Emperor’s set, but works like fashion accessories as we have it now (glasses will stay on no matter what you equip for the head). I’m thinking of fashion accessories window having different tabs that have (Glasses, Head, Body, Arms, Legs, Feet).

What would the game benefit from this?
-cover skin parts based on personal preference
-cover parts that feels glitched like the example above
-adds extra layer of creativity to glamour
-can be expanded upon in the long run, adding different kinds of model accessories like scars, tattoos, wraps, etc …

So yeah this is my suggestion and would like to hear what you all think about it.

1.0 had the underwear slots. They weren't exactly customizable; you had the hempen sets and the original moonfire swimsuits, but the idea for it could've been adapted and expanded into allowing things like undershirts that can hide the neck, arms and bust, putting bloomers, shorts, and tights underneath skirts, etc. Socks would also be a good addition here.

Rather than fashion accessories, which usually eats up your minion to display a single accessory, it would be better if we could have those old underwear slots back as glamour slots similar to glasses. The biggest problem would be going through the gear and making it compatible with such a system, since even in 1.0 they didn't really do much with the underwear slots; if a top had a bra attached, it wouldn't matter what bra you actually had equipped, that top took precedence.

Regardless, I support the idea as a whole. Anything to add extra customization to gear is always a plus.

Huh .. interesting .. it reminds me of on old MMO, Equipment menu having a “decoration” slot next to every piece of gear, except it covers the main gear instead. I was thinking about covering the character model with tights instead of messing around with the gear itself. The material i had in mind is similar to Clouds Veteran reward top, which has an armband on the right arm thats suitable to put under gear without having it overlapping with the gear.

I wasn’t aware that fashion accessories dismisses minions, that’s kinda iffy …

I've always liked the idea of pendants as something you can equip on weapons.
But that's a pipedream considering what kinds of spaghetti set-ups they have to do to make the current facewear and accessories use.
