Thread: Discontinuing sales of 1.0 disks.

i bet alot of these discs will find there way to 3rd party's in bulk.

The new client will be distributed long before the servers go live. This was in the original road map, but more importantly, if they didn't do this, their DL servers would have as many issues as their users.

BTW, my buddy got me an important question:

Can we still use the cd-key from 1.0 to register new player @ 2.0 (assuming cd-key hasn't been touched yet)?

He just got his disc and since he heard 2.0 will be coming soon, he's kinda having thought of playing it later @ 2.0. Figured he (or anyone else) doesn't want to spend more to buy 2.0 too. ;D

Then that's where my q leads. My friend already got his CD-key for registration.
