they allowing us to download ffxiv 2.0 Oct and the game wont be release to Q1 of 2013 so you over 3+month to download the game so no need to worry. The only thing you have to wait is if you get into the beta or not and open beta not too jan so sill give you time to download the game so ya don't see a issue here.
