Correct. Grouping up with other peeps that you'll prob never seen again doesn't really build a community in my eyes. However Blizzard did take steps by letting you add people to your battle.net account and grouping with people from other servers. You can make a pal but you can only really instance/raid with each other. Which I think is limited and hurts the community. Why I really like how TSW handles Cross Realm and it's limitations.

To prove my point there were more 3 to 5 man guilds than there were 40 to 50+ (just do a guild search). Basically you could basically cross realm instance/raid run. I mean what's really the point in the community/LS/Guild if you can just "solo run" with random people? WoW to me just became faceless.

I'm just wondering how Yoshida and Co. is going to handle it. Will I be able to stay in contact with good players from other servers and actually build "a community" ...a friendship with other players. Will I be able to quest with my friends? Or will there be limitations like WoW had. I hope I'm making this as clear as mud, lol. Some of you all can relate I'm sure.

WHM is actually more interesting than just using Cure at low levels. It's no different than any other MMO where you pretty much had 1 heal ability at the low levels, and in most cases, only 1 heal ability that you'd actually use.

Usually the high-end runs that require more dedication and planning can't be run between servers. Usually the ones that are easily pugable are the runs that you can do cross server. So it of it like Ifrit/AV/CC being cross server but Garuda/Ifrit Extreme being just for your server. Let's also not forget the fact that Yoshida said the 24 man raids were for just free companies, so you probably can't play with other servers on those.
