Purple scrips vs. Orange scrips

Hello All

I'm in a weird situation. My main toon is level 100 with all crafters and gatherers above 90. When I do custom deliveries, it seems that I can earn orange scrips only, but no more purple ones.

Problem: I don't want orange scrips (I have them maxed already but can't use them as I am not far enough in the msq). What I would like is to to keep earning purple scrips for which I still have a use (folklore tomes, master recipes, ....).

My question: There is no possible way to earn purple scrips at my level? Or do I fail to understand something?

Custom Deliveries, the once a week turn-in ones of which you can make up to 6 turn-ins per the NPC with a weekly total of 12, should be providing both Purple and Orange scrips for you, so I'm not sure what is happening that you are only gaining Orange scrips.
NOTE: If you are capped on Purple Scrips, as in having 4000/4000 (or capped on any scrip or other currency) you will not gain any more of that specific currency until you spend some.
You will get an in-game notice saying to the effect that "You will not gain anymore <name-of-the-currency>".

While Custom Deliveries do provide a nice weekly boost to scrips and exp, they are not the primary form of earning scrips.

Collectables Crafting and Gathering, and the turn-ins of those at the various "House of Splendors" NPCs are what you do en-mass to gain the scrip currencies, as even though the amount of scrips/currency per turn-in is low, you are not restricted to the amount of items to turn in nor capped with timers or such.
Plus there is a range of "value" on the various collectable items, so that some will give just Orange and some will give just Purple and for an amount range on each, just check the Collectable Appraiser NPC for what is currently excepted and for what value/currency/amount.
Generally, everything on the Collectable Appraiser menu will be Purple Scrip items with only the top cap exp level item(s) being Orange Scrip items.

I mostly get my scrip from collectables, and that can be a pretty easy way to get purple scrip in large quantities quickly if you have the materials. I recommend the Rarefied Draught collectable from Endwalker if you have good access to the materials, because if your ALC is level 100 you can use Trained Eye to instantly max out its collectability.

(And to elaborate, Rarefied Draught is good because it doesn’t take any pre-crafts, only raw materials, so once you get those you can make it immediately with no time or crystals spent on pre-crafts)

They definitely give purple as well, so probably is being capped.

Yes, in the mean time, I understood what caused the confusion: when the game notify about maxed orange scrips, the notification sounded to me like I will earn nothing else than gils. But no, I got it wrong. I keep earning purple scrips same than before, just I don't get orange ones because they're maxed. Glad me.
