Diving vs. use of keyboard

Hello All

I come with a totally different question today (no solo duty involved ).

To dive under water, playing with keyboard, the standard key combo is CTRL + space bar.

Problem: Even if I'm straight above the location I want to dive to, it happens regularly that the key combo doesn't work properly and I keep jumping over the water surface instead of diving.

Question: Any of you - playing with keyboard - already had that? Is there a known solution maybe?

It's not a road block because it's once in a while only, but that's quite annoying when it happens.

Less of an issue when you have unlocked flight for the zone as you can just fly, nose-down, and then it transitions to dive as you hit the water, but to get the CTRL+Spacebar to work more seamlessly, also be moving.
So, get into the water surface, swim (move) to the dive location, and while you are still moving (say, forward W or both L and R mouse buttons pressed at the same time) do the dive key combo.

It does happen sometimes when in the shallow area of the water. It also may be affected by camera angle.

I personally set a second keybind to the Numpad Up (8) button, in /keybind

Flying/Diving Descend: NUM8

Thanks to you both and Jeeqbit, I followed your idea and assigned a key to it (D in my case, as I move with mouse, I don't need it). Since then, problem is fixed.
