Constant Lag and Disconnection from Occult Cresent

Hi I'm new to the forms so I'm sorry if the way I frame this post is bad.

Anyways, recently I started on occult cresent content and ever since starting it, I have been constantly lagging and eventually keep disconnecting from the game itself even if ther arent that many people within my instance.

This does not happen in any other instances like dungeons/trials/raids, cosmic exploration, or other similar content like Eureka/Bozja.

I have wireless wifi connection but my connection and speeds aren't an issue to me disconnecting. I have updated my drivers, closed any background apps that could possibly help with the situation but it hasen't helped me at all.

Edit: I found out its been happening around 8pm PST mostly wich is weird because it can be fine for most of the day and then it just keeps crashing

I have no idea if other people have experienced this issue and its making it almost impossible for me to enjoy the content. It could be another DDoSing attack but there hasen't been any statements on any attacks on loadstone.

If you have an info as to why this keeps happening please let me know. Im just so stuck on what I should so

I'm having the same problems since 2 days ago. Went to Occult and did not stay long as my connection was unplayable, and did not get any better after leaving it.

I found the main Aether Data Center IP address to test my connection (neolobby02.ffxiv.com or 204.2.29.6). The ping and tracert tests are unstable and getting request time outs every 15-30 seconds. My VPN does not help like it did with the NTT server problem, the time outs continue.

Is anyone else seeing these with this server?

All the data centers are having some kind of lag and it's been horrible on crystal and aether to where I cannot get my weekly savage reclears completed or even just do dailies. Ive been watching the servers spike all night on the server latency site
