That would most likely require extending current maps, but then, with this-gen computer capabilities, I don't think it would be an issue. I was just flying around Thanalan the other day and noticed just how much unused space is just behind all those invisible walls...

I always wanted to have my house actually in one of the cites. So many doors that don't actually go anywhere - perfect for in town housing. Could even have more than one person having a house/apartment behind that door. Give some sort of outdoor space room for outdoor decor/gardens - which is one of the issues with apartments (no outdoor space and of course the one room is just kinda small). Neighborhoods are just... dead. Living in a city would make it feel more alive perhaps. And of course for those who would love to live out in the wilds, with no neighbors, yes, plenty of lovely spots that could be allowed for houses.

That sounds like a really neat idea. Maybe you could go out on the balcony of your townhouse and shout down to everyone gathered around the Aetheryte and invite them up for tea. Haha.
