    Rural Housing

I would love nothing more than to place my little cottage right on a plateau overlooking Lake Toari in Shaaloani. Or maybe a villa in Summerford. Or maybe a cozy hut with a nice big fireplace near Snowcloak where I can step outside and ice fish after my weeklies. Tell us about your rural home.

Oh man... if I could build a house (or houses) ANYWHERE I'd have one on the cliffs by the Bloodshore in Costa, one in Doma right by Prism Lake, and/or a nice place with a view in Radz-at-Han. I am all about that view. If it doesn't have a spectacular view, I'm not interested.

If they were to EVER introduce instanced housing, this would be how I'd want them to do it. Set it up so we can live IN the cities or places we visit and give us a spectacular view.

Dravanian Hinterlands (outside of Idyllshire) definitely.

And second the notion of instanced housing letting us pick backdrops from all around Eorzea (and beyond!).

I want to live on the Unsundered Star with Venat for the rest of my eightfold-rejoined life.

Honestly, let me demolish the mammet factories on my island sanctuary and let me build my own housing compound there. That'd be a good start.

I also support this idea! I would LOVE to move to my island sanctuary.

    Unlock housing

See how much fun this is? It's just like the 7.4 glamour unlock. People crave new ways to express themselves. Unlock housing possibilities and let us make our own perfect housing area rather than the few premade spots in the cities.

I always wanted to have my house actually in one of the cites. So many doors that don't actually go anywhere - perfect for in town housing. Could even have more than one person having a house/apartment behind that door. Give some sort of outdoor space room for outdoor decor/gardens - which is one of the issues with apartments (no outdoor space and of course the one room is just kinda small). Neighborhoods are just... dead. Living in a city would make it feel more alive perhaps. And of course for those who would love to live out in the wilds, with no neighbors, yes, plenty of lovely spots that could be allowed for houses.
