I totally had the same idea too.

I would even go so far as including Hildebrand into the questline while you and Hildebrand both try to find the whereabouts of the Wandering Minstrel.

Which inevitably gets you captured by the Yellow Jackets and thrown into the same cell as the Wandering Minstrel.

From there you plan a jailbreak to free yourself, Hildebrand and the Wandering Minstrel. What a wonderful tie-in!

However, I would like to see this type of questing continue into 2.0 Maybe the Wandering Minstrel will do exactly his namesake. Wander Eorzea randomly and those that encounter him get taken on an instanced adventure depending on the location he was found in Eorzea!

How awesome would that be?

Ya know, They were with in there rights to arrest him.

Think about it, the gave us adventurers the ability to control goobues. I would think if there was a definition for people who do this kind of work it would fall in between sociopath and completely hopped up on goofballs crazy.

If I was a common resident of eorzea I don't know what would be more pant's messingly terrifying. The empire, The giant flaming ball of death in the sky, The slavering horde of monsters roaming the lands. Or that band of armed to the teeth nut jobs that have been standing statue still on my front porch for going on a week now and to make things worse they all seem to be muttering to them selfs.

The greatest danger eorzea could face is us, pissed off at the city states.
