    Idea for machinist aoe improvement

    First id keep spread shot and make it combo into scattergun. Scattergun now generates 10 battery.

    Autocrossbow now resets the cd on check and checkmate like heat blast.

    Bioblaster now applies gassy debuff causing flamethrower to direct crit

    Flamethrower now ticks 12 times a second

    Get bishop turret back at low levels for aoe battery spender and it evolves in Final Father at level 80.
    Final father is a fat round robot that chugs Gerolts brew as fuel before tucking its limbs In like a turtle and ejecting jetstreams from the nubs to vaporize enemies in an aoe as Father spins like a drunken balarina bot.

    Machinist AoE kit is definitely in need of a looking over, even just small changes could make a big difference and add synergy. Some other ideas:
    -Flamethrower has synergy with Bioblaster, either applying a secondary burning DoT effect or just increasing the potency of Flamethrower on affected targets.
    -Flamethrower behaves like Suzaku's Kick on Blue Mage, shorten the CD to 5s, but give it a secondary finisher effect, this would lessen the downtime and feel better to use, might even tie the heat gauge into it.
    -Wildfire is already AoE in PvP, bring that to PvE so it feels good to use in big pulls.
    -Give Air Anchor a 5y radius AoE around the target and give it the same cut-off Chain Saw and Excavator have.

    I don't like the idea of flamethrower hitting so often or being a direct crit just because you used bioblaster, but some synergy between them would be cool. I would propose that bioblaster gives a flammable debuff, and flamethrower simply explodes the targets for a set potency while removing the debuff. That would incentivise better play and using flamethrower at the end of the dot for a burst of damage, or igniting it if they won't last the full dot anyway.

    Auto-crossbow giving double check and checkmate timers back sounds cool but might be too much aoe. Then again, I'd like them to try it, it's not a bad idea.

    I don't care to change scattergun at all, but I would like air anchor to have some cleave to it to make getting battery in aoe packs feel better.

    Wildfire should absolutely be AOE, with about a 50% fall-off.
