Cross World Party....without friends?

IN THEORY content finder is a great way to get what you need done wothout waiting on people to log on. However i see it becoming another way to nubfish. Youre gonna be grouped with people more often than not who have no clue. I sicerely hope this doesnt happen because i want to use this feature.

This is Final Fantasy, not Call of Duty. It takes a little more skill and prep work to be a good player. Lets all x fingers it works out.

Final Fantasy has never been a hard series, by all accounts is one of the easier ones difficulty wise, at times even brokenly easy. I don't think noobs will be a problem, more than the elitist that believe that anybody who joins their party should know exactly at what second each boss does what, some people will be new and will not know what X or Y boss does, so take 1-3 mins and explain at the start of the istance, really easy and saves a lot of problems :/

Yes, even if you need technique/skills it will change depending on the parties situation. If you want to take down dungeon efficiently or requires high level of teamwork it’s better to be with community you’re used to. Therefore for content finder would be happy if you can use it casually. Also the finder can be registered while already in a party so for example when you have 7 people already and short on 1, you can use the finder to look for that one last person.

That wasn't the question, or at least I thought the question was "Will the party be filled automatically?". The answer to both is yes.

Linkshells and Free Companies will still exist if people want more structured play.

Unfortunately, judging from my own experience and some of the threads of this forum, not having a cross server content finder has done nothing to avoid those situations.

Content finder is exactly like a pick up group...a PUG that picks up automatically, but a pick up group none the less. So if you're the type of person who has no patience for new people, you should probably stick to your LS/FC

Im hoping theres a way to flag ppl from other servers you know are good. Or have a sort of friends list for content finder, akin to something like yahoo messenger.

Since im already "wasting my time" i might as well do it again. Lets break it down Barney style:

Nub= a term to describe new,inexperienced people

Edit : and still, all I find on Google is a definition a "Urban Dictionary" that doesn't make much sense.
