    Fix the itemlvl-sync!

    Getting sync´d down is in the worst state it has ever been right now.

    Playing any dungeon out of 100 lasts in speedruns where poeple can´t even see more than 1 bossmechanic most of the times. It´s also kinda impossible to die. (Ok the 2nd has been a thing for a looooooong time...)

    The itemlvl-sync needs an overhaul to keep the content atleast somewhat exciting even if you´ve played it 200 times already.

    So in order to keep the dungeons which we've seen 1000 times more exciting, you want to make the bosses tougher so that each boss will repeat their ancient mechanics and we can see them for the 2000th time?

    Might be the 2000th time for you. We're at the point a lot of players have done the dungeons 50 times and have yet to see all the boss mechanics.

    People complain about getting bored with the game and having nothing to do. A good part of those complaints are the result of speed-running through content and ignoring mechanics even if you get to see them.

    Why bother running dungeons if you don't want to deal with mechanics? It doesn't sound like you find them fun. There are other ways to get XP and tomestones.

    Well, maybe tell SE to stop reusing ancient contents by making people do 100 roulettes for the latest stuff?
    They should've known end-game players seek efficiency and it's not wise to force-team them with newbies. It's not their first time. Every time the Moogle tomestones come out people have the same complaints. You can just look at all the other posts.
    What you're seeing is just the symptoms. It's been the elephant in the room for years.

    You don't have to do 100 roulettes for the latest stuff. There are other ways to get tomestones, not to mention the best of the latest stuff comes directly from Savage raiding and can't be acquired by doing roulettes for tomestones in the first place.

    Not all end game players seek efficiency. SE isn't going to cater specifically to those who do (though God knows it feels like they are at times). Besides, roulettes aren't especially efficient for tomestone farming when you've got access to just about every hunt train in your region and the hunt community frequently organizes the trains to be chained from world to world within the same data center. There's not a roulette out there that will give you 120 of the current tier tomestone and 240 of the prior tier tomestone in under 15 minutes like a hunt train can. That's got you capped on the current tomestone in just one hour each week. How much time are you spending in roulettes each week to do the same?

    You're not being force-teamed with new players. You have the option of forming parties with friends.

    Players are always complaining about something. A game can't have hundreds of thousands of active players and keep every single one of them completely happy.

    For now (and no doubt the foreseeable future), you're getting things your way. Most old content is brain dead because the ilvl sync on old content (outside of maybe leveling roulette) is too generous. You have your easy "efficient" mode for getting tomestones.

    Has focusing on efficiency genuinely made the game more fun for you?

    "Endgame players seek efficiency" is ridiculous. A good chunk of us simply want to have fun playing a video game.
    Not everyone wants a speedrun without saying hello and most people do do not rush to the latest boss fights, that's why you see all the CT complaints and more and more people leaving that duty.

    I would love to see Nald'Thals scale mechanic again, not seeing the floor wiped with Niddhogg or mechanics in older dungeons being straight up ignored. It's entirely unfair to new players and frankly an insult to veterans.

    Some of us want to feel emotions while playing the game.
    So yes, rework the ilvl think throughout all content and make them actually remotely worth to get in a roulette.
    I actually do like teaming up with new players you know.

    I agree, we're incentivized to do old content that isn't balanced. For SE, how do you plan to keep recruiting new players of the content skips half the boss mechanics and turns them into training dummies?

    It isn't engaging and if it isn't engaging then people don't want to farm it, so they get inpatient.
