Implement a dye-bag.

Lockboxes I would also argue could be stored somewhere else.

Getting the third retainer should be free at this point, then charge for all subsequent retainers. (I would say more, but that's even more unrealistic)

No matter how much storage you buy, you'll always run into this issue if you don't sort your inventory.

400 Glamour Dresser storage. I filled that by dumping things in it. It was increased to 800. I filled it again. I bought a 3rd retainer, and filled that too. These inventories get endlessly filled if you don't just figure out what to actually delete.

Yes, but you don't understand SE would've been bankrupt if they added more free in-game storage and the folks paying for all the extra retainers each month along with the paid sub for the prem companion app stopped and took away their money

Although I've often cleaned out my dresser, every few months, I realize that until they give us an unlimited dresser along with glam plates, then I'll never be 100% happy with storage now because such a pain to manage it. Then that I have a solo FC so I can add my extras into the chest for myself, then made alts so they can be my future bank storage too without paying more money than entry sub costs each month but the main downside is that you can't add any bound items like event furniture into them either.

Right now I have like approx 10 copies of all the old event furnishings on my 2 base retainers and they take up alot of space since I will dread each new event now since it means I'll need to organized tons of more chairs, tables, posters, food, mugs, and wall decorations sigh because paying $5 each for old event item still causes emotional damage to my wallet.

I personally think we have enough at the moment. It's glamour plates and dresser space that really irritates me though. That's what we don't have enough of.

What I do to mitigate the lack of space:

Throw away whatever doesn't spark joy. You don't need to keep everything.
I'm a bit of OCD when it comes to inventory, I always throw away the excess and end up with less than one page of essentials in my inventory.

Whatever relic progress you're working on can go to your saddle bag. Or any item that's not essential that needs to be kept. There aren't many of that. Usually, just relic stuff.

Transfer some items from your dresser to armoire. You'd be surprised how much space you can save with it.

I have 2 retainers, one with an empty bag, and one with a bag full of relics. I own almost all complete versions of them. I can just get a duplicate from the vendor if I need to.

Adding to the list: Relic weapons & ultimate weapons should also get their own armoire slot.

I don’t do ults & only collect relic shinies, but it’s getting absurd how much spaces they take on their own, I can’t imagine how much more hellish it’d be if you add ultimate weapons into the mix.

Yes, I know one of the Zodiac Seta steps allows for that. Now do that for every other relic steps.

Same. The in-game versions are prohibitively expensive and rare despite how enormously beloved both colors are. I feel the reason we don't have a dye kit of some kind to unlock colors permanently in game is because of how many players actually buy the Mogshop packs.

But having a dye only inventory would open up my saddlebag in its entirety. It's almost exclusively for dye at this point but also has those annoying potsherds and oils since I DO want to keep those.

Doubtful since I know that tons of players buy packs of jet black and pure white dyes often enough along with fantas that SE would never have a perma unlocked dye function since it would help them fund new DCs and servers too which I consider fair as long as they don't raise the sub prices.

They've added an entire expansions worth of new items and the most they've done to combat it is a very limited collection based glamour drawer system.

Other games give you more bank tabs over time, FF14 is just "pay us more real money's monthly for it"

Personally I just want a separate bait inventory - it already has its own popup window to select a bait when you're on FSH, and Cosmic has shown it's totally possible for them to make a separate sort of inventory for that kind of thing.

Also about the dyes, you can manage an inventory of them pretty well if you don't insist on hoarding Every Single Color. You don't need to keep a stack of the ones that can be bought in the 3 starter cities, and you can save even more inventory space by throwing out the craftable ones and just keeping a stack of the relevant pigment item to craft as needed.
