Simply put trying to reinstall the game, but the setup program gives an error. Now, I'm just looking for a way to fix the current error and deal with the other stuff later.

Safe Mode with Networking: A commonly successful fix is launching Windows in "Safe Mode with Networking" to run the patcher, which disables interfering background applications.
Adjust Security Settings: Ensure your firewall or anti-virus is not blocking the game files, specifically allowing the ffxivpatch folder, typically found in Documents > My Games > FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn.
