Question about movement and camera settings

Hello, I have a fully blind friend that I help guide in the game using the follow feature and i'd like to make things easier by allowing his camera to auto face in the direction he's facing during follow while also having the movement of legacy mode, basically standard mode without the backpedaling. Is this possible?

Wow; I'm so sorry they have to experience the game that way. I know that whatever disabilities I develop, the one thing I wouldn't want to lose is vision, and you're really nice for helping them out and helping them to enjoy the world still.

I don't know about that but I do know that /autofacetarget can toggle whether the character faces a target when pressing an attack.

Having legacy mode helps tremendously for him moving out of boss mechanics. Unfortunately when he follows it doesn't auto face the direction we're going as it does in standard mode which helps him target in front of him after I position him. My current solution is having him enter 1st person then back to third person to straighten out the camera. During boss fights maneuvering him around the mechanics then repositioning him along with the camera causes me to lose focus myself.


Also he dies a lot during boss mechanics because he can't use the follow marco fast enough. Currently he just finished heavensward msq and I know everything further will only increase in difficulty and he wants to eventually do savage raids which in my mind would be near impossible for him to stay alive unless he follows continuously during mechanics which will lead to DPS down time. I'm sure this will also anger some party members.
