    Stat Allocation

Removal of stats with a possible auto-adjustment when switching from one class to another.

Oh please no! It was the worst thing about FFXI, was that stats auto-adjusted. People constantly being considered gimp, because they missing 1 piece of armor that everyone "should" have.

I want my stats to define my job, not my armor and weapons. Nothing is better than being powerful by yourself, because you'll only be even more powerful when you add armor and accessories to the mix.

If the stats become auto-adjusted I would have to rely on my gear to increase my nuking ability. Otherwise I'd just be the same as any other con/thm.

Thought/opinons on what you'd like, and why?

ya but when you change classes, like to repair a piece of junk armor, you'll have to reassign your stats every time.

    It is a stupid system.

A lalafell shouldn't ever have as many HP as a Roegadyin

I'm with you on that. I can't tell you how many times I got "replaced" in a party cuz i was in "incorrect" gear. You had ppl using sea com to say what gear they had. And if you had said gear, you got invited. If not, your SOL.
I couldn't get, when when I did get say okote I really saw no difference in my attacks. Amd I had both str and attack + stacked. Same thing bounding boots. I hunted then out of having to finally got them and really wasn't impressed. Don't get me started with ohat and scop harness.

These items barely did much and really didn't matter if I used them or not. My stuff was really not that different. I started just using gear I started to enjoy/ was cheap. And had fun. I tanked the avatar prime fights as a monk/dnc in unconventional gear ppl barely used. Never died.

I never used the elemental staves on my rdm and pretty much when I tried them with mjy scholor I really wasn't impressed. Only one I used was the dark staff and only for the rest hp%.

Do stats even affect your ability to synthesis something, repair, or just the ability to make it high quality? If they only affect HQ, then why bother changing stats if you just going to repair it.

Lalafel should have more HP if the have a higher vitality and are a Pug or Gladiator, and the Roegadyn is a Con/Thm.

The only reason that happen was instead of balancing out ppl did the min/max way. Which ended up skrewing them over. Even the old dev team saying min/maxing you stats will have a negative effect on the game style.

If you played ffxi most of your base stats were 3-5 point differences.
People skrew themselves over in the end by not balancing out their stuff.
But ppl still like being over powered. I guess it makes them feel better.

I used to play ffxi the min/max way I didn't have fun, then I saw how useless it really was. Like two words two. I wanted to make my character an archer. So I put my points in doing that, In the end I ended up screwing myself over since I couldn't always be an archer. And this game don't have point re chamge system.

I never saw a /sea comment in FFXI mention gear. And if you didn't use elemental staves in FFXI on RDM I'm sorry, but you were gimp. You can try and rationalize to yourself all you want, but those staves were necessary to play any mage job and even some of the melee jobs decently. A 10%/15% increase in effectiveness to any spell cast with the respective staff is nothing to scoff at. What were you using instead? Stabbing the monster with enspells?

They need Stat allotment per Class, rather than per character. This would prevent the needing of allocating the stats constantly. You can base the amount of stats you get on the class+phys rank. Each should give you total points to use on that class. This makes having a higher physical not useless, but maybe not as effective as it is right now.

I actually liked the 11 system. I don't having to replace my stats every time I change jobs...That's just stupid. The stats should auto adjust or have it set up so that You place your stats on your class, change jobs and place those stats for that job and it stays that way for that job so that you can switch back and your stats will be where you left them, but having to adjust my stats for each class is just beyond stupid.

You could just save a setting for every class and then load it when you switch your class(or it can autoload: YOUR point distribution setting for X class)
nothing automatic to choose or distribute my points.

    Racial stats can fix this.

Regarding the payment. It says on your objective that Final Fantasy 14 will be compatible for hardcore gamers and casual gamers. It is a bit unfair for casual gamers like myself to pay for a 30 days even though I am only playing half of the time (or less). Is it possible for your good office to maybe have an option for casual gamers to pay 30- gaming days, meaning whenever a player logs-in it is consider as 1 game day. Unlike the payment method that you've said before, the 30 days runs consecutively doesnt matter if you play or not.
