Transferring data centers and some suggestions

I am a somewhat new player. (a few months) And I play almost strictly with my girlfriend as she got me into the game. She is in the server Aether-Siren and I am always visiting her data center however if I purchase items on the MogStation I am required to return to my home world to claim the items. When trying to return to her data center it is usually congested and then I don't want to play anymore as she is the reason I want to play. It would be nice to not have to swap data centers just to claim items I've purchased.

I have checked every single since I have started playing hoping that I can purchase a data transfer over to her server however it seems I will never be able to do so. There is so much to the game I am missing out on due to the fact that I am visiting her Data center. I cant purchase estates, I can't use retainers, I cant claim mail, etc....
It is exhausting and saddening to look up every single day to see that I can't switch servers. It would be nice if I could sign up for a notification or something that states if there is room to be able to transfer.

I also realized that people lose ownership of estates after 45 days of inactivity. But then there are tons of people who are inactive for longer periods of time who remain on congested servers rather than being moved to non congested servers. Moving inactive characters would allow active players to join their friends, whether they visit or pay for a transfer.

The situation with Aether being congested has been the case for quite some time now, and I don’t think it will change any time soon. I would recommend you ask your girlfriend to visit you instead, or (if there’s some reason your home world isn’t suitable) meet on a third datacenter. If you’re looking for quick queue times, Crystal and Primal are good choices.

And as for transferring your character to your girlfriend’s datacenter … who knows when that will be possible. It will probably be quite a few months, if ever. I would suggest finding a place outside Aether and getting comfortable. Datacenter travel isn’t too bad.
